The Real Dirt on Gardening

Last year we had many requests for more info on planting herbs and flowers and several for an actual course. After searching for a location last year which turned out to be hard to find, we weren’t able to offer one.

Now with the new farm set up we are able to finally host some courses! We will start with a 2hr classroom style course for beginners that we called “The Real Dirt on Gardening”:

Gardening can seem very daunting and there is lots and lots of confusing information out there. We will teach you a simple and easy way to get started. This is a course for people who have always shied away and are looking for a basic understanding and a low maintenance approach to gardening. We will discuss topics like how to buy plants and seeds, a simple approach to design and prepare a bed, basics on soil and mulch, how to plant, harvest and winterize as well as a bit about pests and tips & tricks on how to keep your garden going without back breaking labour.
